Our first annual fundraising event “Whiskers, Wags, and Wine” will be held on April 26, 2025, at Dorcich Family Vineyards in Gilroy.

For over a decade, AARF has been at the forefront of animal welfare in our community and has been committed to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need. We have been able to provide a second chance to thousands of animals in our community. Our entire 100% all-volunteer team, truly embodies our motto of “Healing Hearts, Fresh Starts”, in all that we do. 

Countless animals in our community and beyond continue to face desperate situations and need our help – the abandoned, sick, orphaned, or at risk of euthanasia. The past few years have seen a staggering increase in pet surrenders and abandonments, leaving rescues and shelters overwhelmed and in crisis. Our organization is working around the clock to address this surge, but the financial strain is immense. The funds to cover medical expenses, food, shelter and other necessities is more pressing than ever.

This is why we are holding our first annual fundraising event, with the goal of raising much-needed funds to continue our life-saving work. 

We are seeking sponsors and donors, who share our passion for animal welfare and our vision for a community where every pet is safe and cared for. Your support can make a significant difference and your contribution will be recognized at our event in several ways, depending on the level of sponsorship or donation. Your generosity will not only help us meet the immediate needs of animals in crisis but also enable us to continue our mission for years to come. Together, we can make a lasting impact on the lives of animals in our community.
